Competition Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina


The Law on Competition regulates the rules, measures and procedures for the protection of market competition, as well as the manner of work of the Council of Competition on the protection and promotion of market competition in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Law applies to all economic entities, but also to natural persons whose activities may prevent, restrict or distort market competition in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina or a significant part of the market.

This law prohibits agreements, contracts or agreements of economic operators aimed at restricting or distorting market competition in the relevant market, which relate to the determination of purchase and sale prices or any other trade conditions, restriction and control of production, technical development or investment, market division etc.
